More CHA - Compasses, Buttons and Fabric - Oh My!

Tattered Angels - Compass Book

Don't you just love it when you have an obsession and you find materials that just help to deepen it? Shared obsessions are so much fun! So you can imagine my delight when I wandered by Tattered Angels and saw compasses - lots of them! They have some really wonderful looking Glimmer Glass Albums this year, with sheer covers and tons of potential. The photo above is the compass book, below is a gate book - appropriately sporting a gate fold so it opens down the middle :)

Glimmer Screens with Matching Stamps (below)

I was very excited to see a new and fun idea from Tattered Angels - these glimmer screens have coordinating stamps to fit inside the mask - so cool, I'm sure we'll see more products along this line from other mask and stamping people (you KNOW who I mean!). I especially loved the compass and clock set, there's also a tree set that's very inspiring. They are much larger than you think looking at them here, but I think they'll work well on both cards and larger projects.

One more fun item from Tattered Angels - these Glimmer Chip chipboard alphas (below). What I love about these is that you get three pieces from each letter - the frame, the letter, and the negative frame of the letter. Lots of fun, and they are embossed too, delicious!!

There are some very fun accessories out there this year, lots of color and texture. I liked these button stacks from Sassafrass Lass (below), they are sweet colors, diecut cardstock and patterned paper flowers with buttons 'stitched' on top - the whole thing comes assembled and is self adhesive, you just have to love that.

Lots and lots of accessory goodness in vintage style from Jenni Bowlin including chipboard buttons, self-adhesive diamante buttons (extra love for these, they are so vintage looking with diamante centers, and you can use the vintage style button cards on your projects too!), pearl flowers, bingo cards in card and ATC size, great looking papers - they have a ton of eye-candy in their new line.

Basic Grey - don't they always come out shining? Yes, they do. Lovely new paper lines, I especially love the Porcelain line, and the grungy atmospheric background papers from all the lines, but mostly the Marrakech line - there's a ghost imprint on them that's just fab, I liked their new stamps too. They have self-adhesive bling in the form of colored diamante and very cool pearls called "Opaline". AND ... wait for it ... totally gorgeous coordinated fabrics - oh just gotta have those (check out the quilts below).

7 Gypsies - Papers (below)

As usual 7 Gypsies has major marvels happening, they are another reliable company in terms of consistently being excellent. I loved their new papers (pictured above), they have great blank books and products to embellish, stamps, and although it's not new I'm mentioning their embossed metal edges (pictured below) in case you missed it last year, they are fab.

Doorknob Bling (below)

Fun accessories for paper projects like the doorknobs pictured above, metal corners, they have it all. In addition to the ATC/Photo holders you're familiar with in two finishes, they have added a new turning display for your ATCs and photos that uses clips, so you're not limited to the existing card format and you can actually see more of the items displayed without turning the pages.

That's it for this post, I have more to show and tell, so expect at least one more CHA post before I get over it :) Speaking of shared obsessions, one of my fave things about CHA is the validation that there are others out there just as crazy about all of this stuff as I am! Still to come - some of the best, because you have to save that for last, right?

(yes, I asked permission to take photographs at each of these booths)
