I'm really feeling I have so much to do that I've come to a grinding halt. Does that ever happen to you? Life is super busy, at work and at home, and I'm doing things that have to get done in order to keep moving forward one day at a time (work, laundry, school lunches, evening meals, basic hygiene :) but other things could be getting done if I just stopped spinning my wheels. I'm overwhelmed, not to the point of totally stopping, but certainly to the point that I'm just losing a lot of time thinking things through, and not getting them done. Yuck!

I have several major projects due this week at work, and hopefully once those are done and dusted I'll be able to get my act together and be more efficient around here too. In the meantime, there are several cards I need to make and mail for overseas birthdays. I hear you, why not just buy some? Nope, can't do it :) The card above is one that I made a while ago, I struggle with masculine cards, maybe I'll use this one as a jumping off point for the cards I need to make now. Hmm, NOT making my life more difficult, that would be novel :)

Do you make your own life difficult too?

  1. I felt that way for the whole month of February. Hopefully you will feel more settled once work isn't so stressful! I like your masculine card--they are so hard!

  3. Hi, Sue! Sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed. Sometimes when I'm feeling that way, I try to make a list of all the things I'm trying to keep track of in my brain ... and just the act of making a list can help me feel better. I play other games, too, like just focusing on the one next thing I need to do, or just working on something for 15 minutes and see how far I get. Don't know if any of these will help, but I feel for ya! [[[[[HUGS!]]]]] Hope you dig out from under the mountain soon! :-)

  5. Yes... I do make things complicated!!! It's that darn thing called a brain.. Analysis paralysis...

But heck... that's why we are women! Think, think, think....

Hang in there... it will be over... soon..
    Enjoy the ride...
