Skywatch - Spring

I'm not sure when we've ever had this much rain, but it's certainly making the flora and fauna happy - flowers are blooming, birds are nesting and singing their little hearts out. Today is another grey and rainy day, but we get bursts of blue sky here and there - I took these photos recently and they give you some idea of what's going on around here. The first one is taken from our local gas (petrol) station - what a view! We live on a peninsula, and it dawned on me while waiting at the pump that seeing this view from the gas station is one of life's little pleasures.

Glimpses of blue sky through the blossoms on the ornamental pear tree in our back yard.

Raindrops on jasmine flowers and buds, inbetween rainstorms.
