Happy New Year to all, hope you are busy making plans and hatching dreams :) I've enjoyed a day off today, need to work tomorrow, then a weekend to recharge. I'm spending my new year in the usual way - contemplating, planning, hoping, dreaming, scheming, reflecting, renewing. In the midst of this I hope to do some creating and a little reorganizing (or perhaps just plain organizing :) I've been sick, and am hoping to feel much brighter by the weekend, it's difficult to go confidently in the direction of your dreams when you're congested and tired out :)
Care to share your plans for 2009?
Care to share your plans for 2009?

Hi, Sue! Sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather. But I hope you're enjoying this time of reflection, dreaming, and goal setting! Feel better soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting my cold over here...
And I am 'so with you' on the dreaming, scheming, and attempting to organize (I get side tracked!) ... along with...Purging! Tossing!
My plans are to make no plans and carry on! :) Schedules and plans bog me down...suffocate my creativity..I just want to continue to feel free.
ReplyDeleteFell better soon...and happy new year!
Hi Sue! I'm sorry you're not feeling too well. Your card is gorgeous! Love the colors you've chosen!

Such a gorgeous piece for the new year. Hoping you are feeling better by now. My word for the new year is momentum. That's the plan, build momentum and see where it takes me.
ReplyDeleteHi, Sue! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I haven't tried the Stewart Gill paints on fabric, so it's nice to hear they aren't stiff. Hope you're feeling better! :-)
ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by at Halfway To France. It gave me the opportunity to focus on a Wandering Star.
My plans for 2009 are to quit my job as an admin asst in a university Spanish & Portuguese Department, ship my last remaining belongings to central France, move out of my beater trailer, leave California in the broad daylight, and fly to France for a reunion with all my rubber stamps. I have scads of them in boxes stashed all over the house! Isn't that a funny coincidence.
Your art work is a perfect accompaniment to my intentions!
Happy New Year!
Thanks for your kind comments on my three-old-ladies picture! Nice to encounter a fellow-Perthite. I have enjoyed my breeze through your blog and now that I know you are there I will be visiting often.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting to your post a little late, so I trust you're feeling better by now.
ReplyDeleteLove your phrenology/journeying collage. And Jackson Browne on your playlist is a nice accompaniment.
Happy dream hatching in 2009.
