Skywatch Friday - Go Fly A Kite

A blue sky day in Southern California - I was fascinated with all these curved 'sail' kites - although you see only a few in this photo there were dozens along this very broad beach, very cool. Lots of surfers and sailboards too, just another sunny day in California.

    I would hate to go flying in one of those kites. Getting down would be a nightmare.

    Sue, it was so good to meet you at IQF last Sunday. So many fabulous quilts! I didn't realize that you are (mostly?) a paper artist. I love making greeting cards (not scrapbooking), but I'm sort of "stamp challenged." I can't seem to get nice images. Maybe next time we meet you could give me a lesson! Love your blog.
