A little valentine card, using a template from A Year in Cards on Two Peas in a Bucket. Are you feeling the love? The winter lurgy seems to have hit the house, leaving a couple of us the worse for wear. I'm struggling to get back on top of everything, there's a rhythm to our life that is usually in balance, after a couple of weeks of being off rhythm I need to get it back in motion, recover the yin and yang of it all. Days are flying by, and January is over already, how did this happen?
My lasting love affair with Moleskine continues to deepen and grow, aided and abetted by stuff like this -
How adorable is that?? Surely with an aid like this I can keep track of the days of 2010 as they parade past? You would think so, but already I've reduced my postings to mere 'what' and 'when' instead of 'how' and 'why' - I'm determined to make a solid attempt at writing SOMETHING each day, going a little beyond the what and when. I need to revive my art journal too, there's something about the act of writing that illuminates somehow, sheds a little light on the how and why of it all.
How's 2010 going for you so far? Are you ready for February? I say 'bring it on!' because here it comes, ready or not :)

Hi, Sue! Lovely valentine! And I am drooling over your color-a-month Moleskines! What a treat! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty valentine!!!
ReplyDeleteJanuary? Yes, fast.. But a great month over here! Anything is better than 2009!
Love the journal...
Love the card. I can't believe it's Feb already tomorrow, either. Love your journal and that you're keeping one. I never seem to get it together to do that.
ReplyDeleteI just love that red stamping on the pink paper! Wonderful look.
ReplyDeleteawesome card! What a cool planner too! Good luck doing something every day--I am already behind at doing something each week but hopefully I will catch up again soon. I am doing Art Journal Caravan at SBG http://artjournalcaravan.blogspot.com/ it costs $30 but you get an amazing digital kit and a $10 GC for that price along with 50% off coupons to use each week for the parcels. And the amount of talent and creativity is stunning. You can start anytime you want during the year and I am really enjoying the journey!
ReplyDeletePS--there's paper, digital and hybrid journalers in the group so if you decided to join you would be in good company!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the rainbow moleskins. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your card.
ReplyDeleteThat journal is so pretty I wouldn't want to mess it up with my childlike writting.
Welcome Back Red Ryder!
