Full of the joys of spring? After a case of the blahs, I'm starting to feel the effect of sunshine and birdsong, it's been a perfect spring day here today. Life has been busy, and inbetween busy-ness I've been content to stay home and just veg when all the necessary 'stuff' is taken care of. Yesterday I went to a local rubber stamp convention, today I finally got to the point of dragging out stamps and paper - so good to get inky again. This little spring tag is going in the mail to an online stamping buddy, better late than never ...
Molly is taking a nursing course so we had a flurry of must-haves to take care of - white shoes, uniforms, background checks, text books, CPR course fee, blood pressure cuff and stethoscope. Naturally we all had to have our blood pressure taken as test subjects. At first it seemed I might officially be a member of the living dead, with no pulse to be found, but luckily my pulse was located and my blood pressure approved :) My rep as a Zombie Mum is laid to rest.
Flynn is in the final stages of preparation for Confirmation, so there have been classes, church services, and service projects. We had an amazing experience on the big service project, and it was dedicated to the memory of our friend Joe Kelly - a very fitting tribute.
Wishing you a wonderful week!

Beautiful creation Sue!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy spring to you. It's 48 degrees here and the sun was out today. That's our Spring!!!
ohmigosh, Sue! You did a fantastic job with this--I guess all that time watching the demos really inspired you and gave you good mojo for sure! This is beautiful and I love how you used the new stamps! Isn't Wendy Vecchi marvelous! (and not a button to be found!)
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous of your spring weather! It's sleeting outside right now. Your happy tag nested in the flowers was such a lovely sight!! Just what I needed to see to bring hope that spring will be coming soon. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful tag!! Glad to hear the kiddos are doing well. So exciting that you were able to go to the convention. I can imagine how much inspiration you found there and am not surprised you wanted to go home and start creating!!!

Happy spring to you.

Such a beautiful tag with the cool new stamps. Congrats on all the exciting stuff with the kids. Too bad you're not a zombie mom, that could be some kind of bonus points. LOL!
ReplyDeleteSubtle, complex & definitely Spring! I love the 'just enough' warmth of your color palette & the hint of 'heat' to come as Spring becomes Summer. Beautiful work of art, Sue!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, 'Looser'
I love your tag, its beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt is starting to look like Spring, but not feel like it. It is so cold outside today.
Beautiful tag! Love the layering and colors. So pleased that the confirmation preparation is going well. I have my daughter working towards hers as well.
