Hi there, I've been missing in action for a few weeks - lots of great reasons, including major technical issues (my computer had to go the the 'puter doctor), followed by more technical issues (after the computer came home, the security software was dialed up so high I couldn't view blogs, upload photos, or make blog posts!), starting a college course (old brains don't work as fast a young ones, that's all I'm going to say about that), and of course the usual challenges and delights of home, work, and visitors. All in all a busy, wonderful time with plenty of reasons to smile, worry, and laugh (even if there was a little hysteria in some of the laughter at times).
So what's good? Well, spring seems to have sprung, my children are healthy and happy (and almost not children any more really - am I still allowed to call them "children "when they're 19 and almost 17?? Oh yes, they'll always be my "babies"), my niece had a beautiful baby boy, and everyone seems to be having birthdays and anniversaries and great reasons to celebrate life. My brother and his new bride came through town for just one night, it was SO good to see them, just wish we'd had longer to chat and catch up. They have had a remarkable around-the-world journey and are now tucked up safely in their home.
Speaking of birthdays, this little card was for another precious niece who had a birthday, she loves pink, so her card called for pink and gold, plenty of misted pearls, a little bit of glimmer and shine. I do love playing with pages from old books, this one is 'French Romantic Prose", I wonder what it says??
Wishing you a little bit of glimmer in your week, thanks for stopping by. What's happening in your world?
