I'm not sure when we've ever had this much rain, but it's certainly making the flora and fauna happy - flowers are blooming, birds are nesting and singing their little hearts out. Today is another grey and rainy day, but we get bursts of blue sky here and there - I took these photos recently and they give you some idea of what's going on around here. The first one is taken from our local gas (petrol) station - what a view! We live on a peninsula, and it dawned on me while waiting at the pump that seeing this view from the gas station is one of life's little pleasures.
