Our family was blessed in March with a new addition - my niece Sarah and her husband Tom welcomed a beautiful baby boy - Rory Francis. He is just a delight, although he's way too far away and we can't get our hands on him, he's certainly very cherished and the source of great wonder. This is a tag that flew to the U.K. with some teeny little baby clothes for Rory.
Apparently March is National Crochet Month - who knew?? So it seemed only appropriate to start crocheting something. I'm no superhero when it comes to crochet, faster than the speed of light I am not (clearly, since I'm talking about March projects and here we are in April). I'm tackling it one square at a time, and one day when it grows up it'll be a blanket. At my current rate Rory might be 21 before it's finished :) I'm enjoying the portability of crocheted squares, I can complete them in small amounts of downtime that would otherwise be spent daydreaming or waiting without purpose.
